My first Toy Manchester Terrier , Indy, came into my life from Zandi Spicer’s Spiceisle Manchesters.. I started showing Indy in conformation while I was actively competing in obedience and agility with my Dobermans. Indy used to watch me train the Dobes and pretty soon she knew the routines! She was a natural so I started training her. We went to shows and she started qualifying. I realized how versatile these great little dogs are and I was hooked. I finished Indy's Championship owner handled. I received lots of tips from fellow competitors that I am very grateful for.
Indy had some very nice wins. She went BOV from the classes 5 times. She is now Ch. Spiceisle A Time For Me, CD, NA, AXJ, RN, TT, CGC, HOF. Indy earned the coveted Hall of Fame award from the American Manchester Terrier Club.
While I was showing Indy I knew I wanted another Manchester. You really can't own just one! Zandi had a wonderful litter coming from her BISS CH. Spiceisle Sweet Song of Angels (Kailee)and MBIS Can/AM CH. Burmacks Gaenjas Crusader at Fwaggle (Indy) which is where I got my male, "Scout" . Scout is a natural born showman and went BOV at his first show. He got a Group One at a Puppy Match put on by the Richmond Dog Fanciers. He repeatedly went BOV at 7 of the 11 shows it took him to finish. He earned points at every show we went to and received many favorable comments from the judges. He finished his championship with 18 points. He is now Ch. Spiceisle Crusader Song of Trinity, RA, MX, MXJ, NF, CGC,HOF. Scout is training and competing in Agility (seriously working on a MACH), Rally and Obedience. He has sired one Champion and another only needs her major to finish. He has earned the coveted HOF (Hall of Fame) designation from the American Manchester Terrier Club.
